Every year, I drive about an hour south to paint a stand of daffodils along the driveway to Eyre Hall. It's in a small depression studded with trees, many gnarled and twisting towards the sunlight. This year, it's been so cold that the daffodils are way behind schedule. There were only two small stands of them when I made this painting - but nonetheless, they were blooming, and that means that spring is coming. Oil on black canvas, 10x20, $350 plus shipping.
