Welcome to Jacobson Arts

The Walk for Peace
More than a dozen Buddhist monks and a once-stray dog are walking from Texas to Washington, DC, growing seeds of peace in all they meet along the way. Their walk has touched me deeply, and so I am painting them.
I'm donating this first painting to the monks, but you can get prints of this and other Walk for Peace paintings by clicking here, and going to Fine Art America. I will donate a portion of all print and painting sales to the monks, as well.
Whatever Walk for Peace paintings are available are in my store, which you can reach by clicking here. They will all be available for you to make prints (or whatever strikes your fancy).
I hope that today will be your peaceful day.
Bottom painting, Aloka the Peace Dog, 12x12, $245.

Potholders!

I started making these when I was laid up after knee surgery, and I have to say that I love the whole process. Yes, it reminds me of camp... but more than that, making a potholder gives me a space of calm, of quiet, of serenity and color. I'm selling them for $12 for one or $20 for two. Shipping is an extra $5, and the selection will be by me, and fairly random. If there's a color you MUST have, contact me and we can talk. You'll find the potholders in my Store!

WORKSHOPS
Come to the studio here at 18 Bayview Ave. in Wachapreague and learn to paint with a palette knife.
Two-day workshops are $375, one-day workshops are $200. Both workshops include most materials. For more information, please click here.

I am in the beautiful, expanded studio here at 18 Bayview Ave., Wachapreague, most weekdays from about 10 to about 3, though as with most private artist studios, there's always the potential for unexpected absences. It's smart to touch base before you visit, to make sure I'm here and the dogs are inside. I am always available to schedule an appointment. Reach me at carrieBjacobson@gmail.com,
